The short version: the only personal details I hold are the ones you send me when you get in touch. I use them to reply to you and for nothing else. This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking or analytics.
Who I am
Never Ignored is run by Luke, a sole trader based in Gateshead, building websites and online presence for small businesses across the North East of England. For anything in this policy, contact hello@neverignored.co.uk.
What I collect, and why
When you use the enquiry form or email me, I receive what you choose to send: typically your name or business name, an email address or phone number, a link to your website or social page, and your message. I use these details to look at what you've sent, reply with suggestions, and — only if you ask — discuss work. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Cookies and tracking
None. This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and loads no advertising or social media trackers. Fonts are served from this website itself, not from a third-party service, so viewing the site sends no data to anyone else.
Who handles the data
Like almost every small business, I use a few everyday services to operate, and your details pass through them when you contact me:
- Email — my mailbox is provided by Google (Gmail), so messages to hello@neverignored.co.uk are stored there.
- Website hosting — this site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to serve and protect the site.
- Enquiry form — if you use the form, the submission may be delivered via Formspree, a form-handling service, before reaching my inbox.
Your details are never sold, added to marketing lists, or shared with anyone else.
How long I keep it
Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or any work that follows from it. If you'd like your details deleted at any point, email me and I'll do it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to my use of it. Email hello@neverignored.co.uk and I'll sort it. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If how I handle data changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
